Game by Game Breakdown

Rams vs Lions: Coach Schwartz versus mentor Jeff Fisher. Jeff Fisher is a good coach but this Rams team is young. The Lions should be ready to go first game of the season and the D will be better.
Pick: Lions (1-0)

Lions @ 49ers, SNF: Handshake Gate II. We all remember last years game. It was a 4th down goal line play that won it for 49ers.  Expect this game to be just as close. If the Lions are to take the next step, then they need to win this game.
Pick: 49ers (1-1)

Lions @ Titans: The Titans should be starting first year starter Jake Locker. He's a good player but the Lions will be ready to dominant.
Pick: Lions (2-1)

Lions vs Vikings: This is our first division matchup of the season. In order for us to attempt to overcome the Packers in the north, then we need to control the division.
Pick: Lions (3-1)

Bye Week

Lions @ Eagles: The Lions should be rested and well prepared for this game, but I'm not sure if they'll be ready for the Philly atmosphere.
Pick: Eagles (3-2)

Lions @ Bears, MNF: This is a huge division matchup. The Bears think that they are the second best team in the north and before Cutler's injury last season, they were.
Pick: Bears (3-3)

Lions vs Seahawks: Coming off two straight tough games, the Seahawks coming to town should be no problem. Wait...unless they start Matt Flynn (6TD last year against the Lions).
Pick: Lions (4-3)

Lions @ Jaguars: No problem. Pick: Lions (5-3)

Lions @ Minnesota: The Vikings could already have key injuries to the roster. Pick: Lions (6-3)

Lions vs Green Bay: The last game against this team didn't go so well, but now Matt Flynn is in Seattle. This game being at home should help, but unless their bus crashes on 94, we're not winning this one.
Pick: Green Bay (6-4)

Lions vs Houston, Thanksgiving: This should be a good matchup. The Texans are coming off there first ever playoff appearance. Houston however won't be ready for the Thanksgiving spotlight.
Pick: Lions (7-4)

Lions vs Indianapolis: Whether it's Luck or RG3, with 12 days to prepare, the Lions will destroy the Colts. Pick: Lions (8-4)

Lions @ Green Bay, SNF: The Lions will try to snap a 20-game losing streak at Lambeau Field. It will be a good game, and the Lions will be pumped. But...Pick: Green Bay (8-5)

Lions @ Arizona: Who knows who the QB will be for the Cardinals by week 15. Pick: Lions (9-5)

Lions vs Falcons, MNF(Saturday): This is Saturday Night game on ESPN. Last year's game between these two teams was close and decided in the trenches. They will be better prepared for Atlanta this time around. Last year the Lions gave us a playoff Christmas gift. This year should be no different.
Pick: Lions (10-5)

Lions vs Chicago: No one never knows with the last game of the season. Playoff seeding could still be up in the air. Pick: Lions (11-5)

The Lions finish the season with an 11-5 record. Good record but what we do in the playoffs is what matters.
