Mikel Leshoure and Nick Fairley, in the span of two days, both were pulled over and arrested for possession of marijuana. For Nick, he actually got pulled over twice in the same day. More seriously for Leshoure, a bench warrant has been issued for his arrest because he missed his arraignment date.
Both incidents are bad and show a lack of maturity on all levels. They need to make better decisions but in my eyes what's truly to blame is the new CBA.
We all remember the long drawn out lockout from last summer. Well one thing the players negotiated and received was a set off time period. The players can't be seen at the teams facilities until some time in April. Good for them right? They get to rest their bodies and not feel pressured to attend workouts.
Well this is what you get. Young players who are now at home bored smoking weed. When you smoke weed you make not so smart decisions. If they want this fixed, then they need to rethink that new CBA rule.
Any thoughts of them drafting Jenoris Jenkins went up in smoke, after this! LOL
ReplyDeleteNo change in draft strategy. If they think Jenkins can play and he's the best choice, then they will draft him.
